Exploring The World Through New Perspectives

MyCityforAll, part of CareunderSun’s Sustainability Project, empowers wheelchair users to become local guides in Greece. Experience cities through their eyes and discover accessible tourism, inclusive experiences, and the rich culture, history, and beauty of Greece.

Each experience is shaped by the guide’s personal relationship with their city, its history, culture, daily life, challenges, and hidden stories.

What do we look for?

MyCityforAll is an innovative initiative under the Sustainability Project by CareunderSun, designed to promote inclusive tourism, empowerment, and social awareness in Greece. The project enables wheelchair users to become local guides, sharing their unique perspectives while showcasing the beauty, history, and culture of their cities.

By allowing travelers and locals alike to experience Greek destinations (first phase) through the eyes of wheelchair users, the project not only highlights the accessibility of these places but also raises awareness about inclusivity, accessibility challenges, and the importance of universal design in sustainable tourism.

What we do...

Our Goals

We know that every traveler is different. That’s why we offer flexible travel formats with varying levels of support:

Empowerment:

Provide training, employment, and income opportunities for wheelchair users to become certified local guides.

Sustainability:

Support social sustainability by integrating marginalized communities into the tourism economy and fostering respect for diversity.

Inclusion in Tourism:

Promote accessible tourism experiences that cater to everyone, regardless of mobility level.

Awareness & Education:

Encourage visitors to understand accessibility issues while experiencing authentic, human-centered storytelling.
